Flexible Delivery

The 30-credit degree is offered fully online. Our online format means campus visits are not required, allowing you to learn from anywhere and at a time of the day that suits you best. If you prefer face-to-face learning, Wilkes offers this program at convenient course locations throughout Pennsylvania, including on campus in Wilkes-Barre.

Designed for Working Teachers

Our program is designed for practicing educators and focuses on combining effective teaching practices with theory and research. Students will grow their knowledge base as well as gain practical skills and techniques that are directly applicable in the classroom.

Actionable Insights

While this program explores psychological, social and comparative foundations in teaching, our courses give students practical skills that they can begin using in their classrooms immediately, whether it’s through implementing new assessment strategies or leveraging technology to engage students.

Tuition & Aid

Tuition for graduate programs in education for the 2024-25 academic year is $571 per credit, or $1,713 per course. Deferment is available for employers who reimburse tuition and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

With extensive knowledge of teaching best practices, you’ll be able to assist in projects ranging from curriculum development to instructional training for other educators.

You’ll be empowered to design, implement, and teach a variety of programs as well as create materials to accomplish organizational goals.

Pennsylvania Instructional Coaching Letter of Endorsement

The master's degree includes the option to earn the 12-credit letter of endorsement in Instructional Coaching. Add on to your degree, or enroll in this stand-alone program to strengthen the culture of teaching and learning in your school or district and and support continuous improvement in the classroom.

Approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, this endorsement gives you the skills to become an instructional coach in your school or district. Upon successful completion, Pennsylvania educators can apply to add the Instructional Coaching endorsement to their teaching certificate.
